Twitter spoils the fun pulling the plug on the PC of the classic game embeds

It felt like more Christmases had come at a time where fans discovered that the Internet archive library of classic PC games can be accessed from Twitter - but all good things must come to an end.

The social network has pulled the plug on Tweet MS-DOS games, May 1, probably because the games playable integration into positions that violate their terms and conditions.

"Build interactive experiences from start to completion in the video or audio is not on the contents of the card players, such as shopping, games, surveys, messaging and data collection related" reads an excerpt from the terms and conditions Twitter.

For a few glorious days, users of Twitter have played the likes of Street Fighter 2, Doom and Prince of Persia without disconnecting the service for free.

However, all of the classic PC 2400 Internet Archive still available for access via the official website of the organization.

Files profit group is also home to millions of free books, movies, software, music, and more.
